Rankings Update
USA Triathlon - USA Triathlon November 19, 2008
In recent weeks there have been several inquiries to USA Triathlon in regard to why more recent races are uploaded sooner than older races in the rankings search engine.
USA Triathlon attempts to upload results in the order received. In many cases, USAT does not receive results from the events for weeks after the event has taken place. Once the results are received, USAT must confirm the format of the results and then upload those results into the rankings tool.
In accordance with the rankings protocol, if there are not sufficient pace setters that participated in the event the results are not published as we wait for those pace setters to be established.
If you have questions in regard to a particular race not being published, please contact us at rankings@usatriathlon.org with the event name and date, and we will research your request to determine why those results are not published.
Rankings Engine Testing
USA Triathlon is working on a new rankings tool. In an effort to ensure the new tool works as anticipated, we must temporarily stop uploading results while we test the new tool. During this time, USAT will continue to receive and format race results to upload once we are completed with the current testing cycle.
USAT thanks you in advance for your patience as we work toward a permanent solution to the rankings issues.
